Don't bring your pet here!‎
I got my mini dachshund from PK. I noticed she had a bit of a cough and the staff told me that she was recovering from the "sniffles" and that she had already treated for it at their vet she should be fine. Well they obviously didn't treat her sickness at all because it was after i brought her home and took her to my vet that I found out that my puppy got pneumonia because her kennel cough went untreated for so long. To make up for it their "trainer" offered to help leash train my dog, he was very rude, and worst was he used the jerking leash method which didn't help leash train my puppy but instead it terrified her. The place is filthy, smells awful and is always crowded.Thankfully my sweet dog is well and in good health but i will NEVER go back to that dump ever again. If you love your pet you will NOT take him/her to Potomac Kennels.‎

Miniature Pinscher‎
I feel in love with my puppy, Louie now, when he jumped in my lap and snuggled with me. He did have a cough and dandruff, but he won my heart, and I felt I was the right person to take care of him. It was last that night, and he still needed a bath, so I decided to put my $200 deposit and pick him up the next day. I decided to look online to read some reviews and saw that 9 days prior to me buying him, someone had written a report about the puppy being sick. I became a little more worried that maybe I shouldn't have gotten a sick dog, but the deposit was non refundable. The kennel assured me they would pay for the first vet visit, and if the vet found something, they would keep paying all the costs until the puppy was better. They also gave us some amoxocilin in the mean time. The next day, my boyfriend and I took him to the vet. They put him on new medication and gave us some special shampoo. The shampoo worked wonders - he smelled great and he now has a shiny (no dandruff) coat. ...

We had high hopes by the website...
and these reviews. I was expecting healthy, well kept dogs due to their site saying they only get puppies from reputable breeders and have an in-house vet... driving up to see the sign "We Sell Designer Puppies" disgusted me... they arent purses, they are ...
